A trio perfectly blended hops packed (literally!) into the brew give this intensely flavorful beer incredibly bold aromas and moderately high bitterness. Balanced with caramel malt sweetness India Style Pale ales are copper in color and traditionally fortified with higher alcohol and lots of hops to preserve the beer for its long travels. Wonderfully big and bold hoppy flavors are a perfect pairing with spicy foods or for those looking for a beer to reward them with the complexity of flavors so relished by "hop head" beer lovers.

Pours clear darkish amber, with airy off-white head. Interesting aroma of tamarind and malt. Bitter, hoppy flavur, with sweetish, malty notes and touches of some rather bitetr spice. Mildly bitter aftertaste. More interesting than good but drinkable.

On tap at the Mountain Brewers’ Fest 2013. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A big nose of pine and bitter hops. The flavor is fruity, pine, orange peel, zest, bitter long lasting hops. Nice.

Keg at National Beer Hall, Calgary. It pours hazy amber, with a small white head. The nose is orange, sweet tangerine, marmalade, passion fruit and faint hint of urine. The taste is orange, tangy marmalade, apricot, peach, sherbet, some caramel and pine, with a bitter-sweet finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Good flavour and balance. Definitely an above average IPA.

Draft - Hoppy piney aroma, with an oddly sweet malt. Cloudy amber with a creamy medium head. Very floral and a piney bitterness. A bit of sweetness as well. Not bad but a little off balance.
