650ml bottle from the LCBO Pours a hazy dark amber with a a big off white head that hangs around and clings to the glass. Great nose with grapefruit, pine, peach and grass. Excellent bitter citrus throughout but a background peach sweetness keeps it under control. Medium slick mouthfeel with decent carbonation. Long bitter finish. Excellent.

Single bottle from the LCBO (written 7.0% ABV on front painted label). Pours a golden colour with an amber hue and lots of particles floating around. Big creamy warm cap that stays a very long time and gives out thick creamy lace. Nice fresh hoppy nose with the grapefruit, pine and grass aromas. The taste is surprisingly not as hoppy and bitter as I expected. Still, pretty good with some grain, light grass, citrus and mild dry finish. Goes down very well and another great brew for the Tank Ten project.

(cask at Bryden’s in Toronto, June 19th) Poured a murky orange with gold highlights and a decent white froth for a cask pint. Huge aromas of rich orange rind, grapefruit, hints of tropical fruits, resin, pine, crystal malt sweetness. Those big friuty hop notes show up on the palate well-integrated with crystal malts and a cleaner sweetness leading to a nice pine resin and grassy bitterness at the finish, very clean. Mouthfeel quite full and smooth as a good cask should be, with just a hint of carb. A beautifully stitched together and eminently drinkable cask IPA with big body and big flavour.

Finally got a taste of this beer. Smells very fruity, rich tangerine and hops. A good low carbonation - tastes almost like it was on cask, though I don’t think they have cask beers at The Rhino. Decent lacing. Slightly cloudy blond. Taste has bitterness and lots of flavour. Very smooth drink on this one.

A lightly hazed IPA with a thin white head. In aroma, a pungent floral oily hops with light musky notes, sulfur, nice. In mouth, a smooth grassy malt with catty floral hops, grapefruit pulp, decent. Cask at Ontario Cask IPA Challenge, April 21, 2012.

Sample at the Strange Brew Tasting on 02/18/2012. The beer is a mostly clear yellow-gold color with a medium thin bone white head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrusy hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of hops, citrus, pine and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
