Pours copper-brown, thin film of foam that just stays. Aroma is sweetish-woody, some raw grass or green tea feeling to it as well. Taste is sooth, has a decent hop bite and abundant malt richness to balance it out. This green in the aroma is coming out quite strong in the taste as well, something that I actually like Interesting brew and unusual style. For me, this does it’s wonders and yes, I’d like to have more of it. For 8% beer goes down just too easy.

Bottle, batch 1 (from Koht). Purs ruby red with beige head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is sweet, caramel, sour, citric, vinous, apples. Flavor is sweet and bitter, somewhat vinous, citrus, tangerines, raisins. Finish is bitter orange with some warming alcohol. Overall: very nice brew.
