16 oz can purchased as a single at Burn ‘Em Brewing in Michigan City, Indiana. The pour is a hazed red copper brown with a one inch light tan head. The aroma is cocoa, gentle spice and softly sweet caramel malt. The taste is the cocoa right away, followed close by the caramel malt, sweet syrup cane sugar, chocolate finish. The palate is medium to heavier bodied with a lingering cocoa chocolate sweet finish. Soft carbonation. Solid.

Tap at Ted’s beer hall - Pours lightly hazy reddish orange with a small off white head. Smells like roasted chocolate malt with a little caramel. The flavor is somewhat sweet with roast malt, vanilla, and chocolate. Medium body. It’s alright, but doesn’t equal a well made, more traditional stout for me.
