50cl bottle from Meny, Oslo City. Pours slightly hazy golden with a nice, white head. Surprisingly fruity aroma with notes of apples and pears, pale malt and hints of grass, herbs, yeast and citrus. Moderate sweet with fruity flavours and a pleasant bitterness in the finish. Refreshing and sessionable

På kran i bryggeriet 17 Okt 09. Gyldent på farge. Litt uklart. Høyt kremaktig skum. Veldig innbydende fruktig aroma. Rik fruktig smak med innslag av høy. Ikke særlig bitterhet. Langvarig ettersmak med innslag av litt malt. Veldig god!

400ml served reasonably chilled on tap at the brewpub. The body colour is golden-amber with a slight haze and with a few white floaters on the top. Inviting smell of sweet citrus in the direction of mandarin. Appetising taste of smooth apricot and clementine with malts coming through. Dry bitter ending. Very refreshing and easy to drink. A well brewed rendition of the style and, for the time being, the best pilsener made in Norway (Lillehammer, 06.02.2009).

On tap at the brewpub, 33cl. I sure was surprised when I took the first sniff of it, as I expected a rather bland, or maybe decent pilsner. There was a lovely fruity aroma, with some notes of pine and citrus. It was quite low on maltyness, at least compared to the hoppyness, and smelled delicious. The pour had a rather dark golden color, was clear even though it was unfiltered, and had a nice, dense off-white head. on top. In the mouth, the malty flavors was more on level with the hops, and some sweetness was detected too. It was quite creamy in the mouth, with a medium fullness. This very sessionable pilsner is for sure the best pilsner in Norway at the moment!. (080216)
