The Aromas are fruit and citrus oxidized hops with a little caramel malt. Flavors are somewhat like nose with a very slightly sweet citrusy start and a somewhat harsh bitter finish. Good body and carbonation. But one and done.

Nice quality bottle label. Wasn’t careful, pop lid for a gusher, heheheh. Nice big rocky head fer sher. Somewhat cloudy and uncivilized looken. What else can be said except that this is one big fat nasty nellie terribly on style IPA with a tad of astringentness attached. Big dull whack in the palate.

3 month old bottle > Shaker. A: Poured to a short, quickly falling head atop dirty orange body. S: Light citrus and pine scent with faint sour cherry and caramel. T: Very bitter with citrus and pith. Heavy grapefruit and pine. Light toasted bread and caramel sweetness. Nice balance. M: Medium body with low carbonation. Tastes resinous but feels clean going down. Refreshing and drinkable. O: A N.C. IPA mainstay. Very good overall and widely available at a nice price.

Nice old-school West Coast IPA, less concerned with citric niceties than with brutal bitterness. Caramel-grainy malts hint at a lingering sweet side but quickly give up the IBU fight, leading to a resinous, clingy fade. Tasty.
