22 oz red wax sealed bomber purchased at the brewery in Springfield, Missouri. Date printing on the neck of the bottle is illegible. The pour is a hazed copper orange with a well formed ½ inch light tan head. The aroma is sweet caramel malt, dried fruit, specifically raisin, general floral and warming alcohol. The taste is strong caramel malt, fig raisin, perfume floral and a decent blast of hot alcohol towards the back. The palate is medium to heavy bodied, soft carbonation, and a dry sweet boozy finish. Nicely crafted, just not really my type of beer.
