16 oz Willebecher draft at Martin City Pizza and Tap in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a mostly clear brown copper with an off white head. A solid sheet of lace is left behind as the beer is drank. The aroma is malty; caramel, cracker and some crystal in there. A bit of apple fruit sweetness is faint. The taste is clean malt, the sweetness is light and very well integrated into the caramel, cracker and crystal malts of the nose. Dry, crisp, slightly earth mineral finish. The palate is light to medium bodied, soft natural carbonation and the dry finish. Clean easy drinking beer, nicely done.
