Dark ruby color with a bubbly tan head. Coffee, mild roasted and some fruity notes. Ok body and an ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Almost flat carbonation. A quite ok flavor with coffee, roasted and some fruity notes. But it is completely destroyed by the flat carbonation. A bit sad. Could have been an ok porter.

Bottle. It pours an unclear, deep chestnut body under a minimal sized beige head. Not much carbonation going on. The aroma is roasted tending towards burnt down bonfire and charcoal. Some chocolate and a touch of coffee grit. Except for the lack of carbondioxide, it’s pretty pleasant on the palate. Quite dry, and with a decent body. Roasted malts, charcoal and dark chocolate and a decent bitterness in the flavor. Lasting finish with a delicate touch of hops. Pretty nice this one, expecially considering the ABV. Would like to have more co2 though, and I know it was supposed to have that. 140724
