Bottle, BF 2018. (thanks Eddan) Black with a small tan head. Dark malt, chocolate, rum, licorice and some wood. A bit old but still a pleasant one.

Bottled. Pitch black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, cocoa, tar, some smoked wood, raisins, rum and mild liquorice Flavour pretty much has the same elements as the aroma, but also has a slight tart edge to it. Very smooth.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a small and dissipating light brown head. Nose has a chocolate roast and light rum notes. Solid body, again roasty leaning towards the harsh side as in stale coffee. Again tons of chocolate accents while the rum is fairly downplayed, Very boozy finish. This is really a smack in your head! Not exactly refined. 110417

Bottle @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2014 ] @ Tap1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, 1760 Copenhagen, Denmark. [ As Det Lille Bryggeri 400 Rom Edition ].Clear dark black brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, alcohol - rum, light oak - rum. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, sugary, chocolate, dark malt, rum. Body is medium to full, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20140522]
