Tap at Brewpub Bryggeri, Helsinki. This one is unfiltered unlike bottled version. Colour is almost black with slightly brownish white head. Aromas and flavours: Grain, hints of chocolate, some sweetness and malts. Not bad, easy to drink.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 07/2014, from Alko, 20140207) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had malts, chocolate, molasses and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were chocolate, molasses, malts, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste had chocolate and bitterness. A nice balanced doppelbock but the chocolate-like scents and flavours were a bit too strong. Old rating 7-4-7-3-14
(Re-rate, keg at Bryggeri Helsinki, unfiltered, 20140214) The haziness was quite mild. Not so much different from the bottled one. One key difference was that the molasses flavour was more forward and the chocolate was in the back. +1 for taste and overall

Bottled (from Alko Prisma, Vaasa). Very deep rubyish copper colour, with a mediumsized foamy white head, that leaves good lace. Aroma is mild nutty notes, some toasted notes as well as mild fruitiness. Flavour is fruits, some slight toasted notes along with mild bitterness as well as some nuttiness. Quite pleasant flavour! As it warms up, it gets slightly sweeter, as alcohol also shows up.
