A malty dark ale with a complex and flavorful chocolate character with a gentle notes of leather and horse blanket from the wild yeast strain of Brettanomyces lambicus. Fermented with our own mix of ale yeast and brettanomyces yeast to generate a intense but smooth Porter with flavorful chocolate character combined with background of funky fruity esters.

Rerate, 330 ml bottle, brew #0055, from the brewery. ABV is 6.5%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black, ruby in the highlights. Large beige head. Fairly nice roasty aroma, notes of chocolate. The flavour is medium dry and roasty, notes of coffee and chocolate. No sign of brett, but I’m still upping the score a little. Original rating: Sample from bottle at Vecturamesse. One-dimensional porter, no sign of brett. Still drinkable, but disappointing. Will re-rate if I get a full bottle.
