Imperial Vanilla Milk Stout. Indeholder laktose.

January 2020: 500 ml bottle, from Skjold Burne Hjørring. ABV is 10%, IBU 50. Hops are Magnum and Mosaic. Black colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roast malts, mild coffee, vanilla and lactose. Sweet flavour with the same ingredients, very distinct chocolate, vanilla and lactose, also caramel. Maybe too sweet? Roast malts, coffee and bittering hops in the aftertaste.

Sample @ Voldby Ølfestival 2016. Pours thick, sugary black with a medium brown head. Notes of fudge, vanilla, sweet milk chocolate, more vanilla, more sweetness. Sweet as a motherf but pretty good for syndikatet anyway.

Superficial festival rating at DØE - Ølfestival København 2017. Dark brown body, almost black with a small off-white head. Nice aroma of roasted malt and caramel. Flavor is sweet, dark malt, caramel, decent bitterness and some warming alcohol. Full bodied and long lasting aftertaste. A bit one-dimensional but not bad at all.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a reddish brown with a beige head. Very sweet vanilla aroma - somewhat cloying. Rich, sweet body, lowish carbonation. Again lots of cocoa beans and sweet wine, vanilla sugar making this really hard to drink in spite of some late bittering hops. Not bad, but enjoy in very small quantities. 030216

Near black with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, vanilla and citrus hops. Very sweet caramel flavour with lots of vanilla, and a touch of citrus hops. Compared to its inspiration, Southern Tier Creme Brulee, it’s much better balanced
