500ml bottle from Hippo Beers. Golden-orange amber colour with a lively frothy white foam head which leaves some lacing. Nose of apricot, melon, sweet candy, citrus. Flavour is malt caramel with zesty citrus, mellow fruits, mango, apricot, and some tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, fairly high carbonation, dry lingering tangy & earthy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

On cask at the Bow Bar. The main part of the beer is a beautiful plum colour. There’s orange, red and brown all mingled. Unfortunately, nae heid, otherwise would’ve been a 5 for appearance. Must try to find it on cask. Plums on the nose and plums aplenty on the taste. Some boiled sweets and a light fizzy sweet on the back. Close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Enjoyed this.

Bottle from Deeside Drinks Emporium. It pours clear amber with a thick off-white head. The nose is sweetish, stewed orange, digestive biscuits, toasty and light spice. The taste is grapefruit, lemon peel, spicy, toast, alcohol, brown brown and decent bitterness with a dry, somewhat citric finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A bit rough around the edges, but not bad.

Bottle from Cornelius. Murky amber body with a medium off-white head. Light carbonation. Excellent lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel, mango and orange. The flavour is a bit muddled and messy - caramel, orange and biscuit, with no one flavour coming to the fore. It feels like a slightly sharper citrus edge would just lift this a little more. Medium body with a sticky mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. I prefer Raj to this.
