Bottle at the home from the rot box. a MOSTLY CLEAR AMBER BROWN COLOURED POUR WITH A LASTING LOOSE OFF WHITE HEAD. aROMA IS semi sweet, nutty toffee malts, green apple, stewed fruit, light cardboard. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, toffee malts, thin raisin loaf, stewed apple curd, thin, brown sugars. apple raisin. Palate is thin, semi sweet, mellow carbonation. Should not have sat on this for this long.

Bottled. Deep goldeny orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is grains, grass, some mild saltwatery notes as well as some bready tones. Flavour is very similar with some herbal notes kicking in quite strongly. Nice grassy bitterness in the finish.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Hoepfner Carls ].Clear medium amber yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, sugary, unmalted barley, pale malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sugary malt, sweet malt, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140705]

Thanks to kevnic2008 for this beer. The beer is smooth, fresh and highly drinkable. Grainy-malty in the mainpart with a smooth moderate bitterness. The aftertaste is smooth, fresh, grainy-malty.
