Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig malzig, sehr hopfig. Geschmack leicht hopfig, fruchtig malzig, exotische Früchte.

Bottle from Meinl am Graben. Ornage golden color with small white head. Floral hops with oranges, tangerines, pines. Taste, solid malty base followed by citrus hops. Not very hoppy beer, but still good.

Bottle: Deep golden, cloudy, loose rocky off-white head, flowery to exotic hoppy aromas in the sweetish-caramelly nose, some turpentine detectable; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; slightly lingering sweetish fruity-hoppy finish. Quite well drinkable, but a bit too sweet…

330ml bottle. Cloudy dark golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Peppery yeasty aroma with hints of juniper berry, laurel, some banana notes, a touch of apricot. Taste is minimally sweet wheat malty, apricot, banana; herbal and minimally peppery yeasty middle part, moderately sweet fruity finish with apricot, peach, banana. Partially very nice fruity, non-interfering, neglectable peppery touch, but some unpleasant herbal notes can’t be overseen... and oh yes, certainly not an IPA.

33cl bottle pours with a deep clear gold body with copper hues and supporting a semi loose bright white head of foam. There is a healthy firm cake of yeast at the bottom of the bottle. The aroma is full of cloves and bananas and malt sweetness with modest grapefruit and pineapple just behind. It kind of has a rauch sense to it at times. The taste is similar with an even mix of cloves, banana and then a fair amount of citrus to pineapple to a touch of herbal grassiness and yeasty notes. Interesting brew.

33cl bottle, bb 30.04.14. Unclear orange in color with a steady white head. Wheaty, floral, fruity aroma, belgian ale yeast-like notes in the background. Flavor has banana, wheat, hops and some peppery notes. Long fruity, yeasty finish, quite dry mouthfeel. Not very IPAish, more like a weizenbock / blonde ale perhaps. Nonetheless, if one just drink the beer and forget about the style, it is refreshing and goes down very smoothly.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Yeasty, wheat-malty aroma with a grainy touch and fruity notes of citrus and banana, accompanied by mildly spicy notes of cloves. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a prickly carbonation. Solid wheat-malty and fruity taste with notes of citrus and a touch of banana, slightly resiny hops from the middle part; wheaty, fruity and slightly resiny hoppy finish with grainy spots. More a Weizenbock than an IPA. 15.VII.13

bottle from Bierzwerg. Hazy golden colour, fluffy-persistent white head. Hoppy-yeasty nse with fruit. Medium-bodied with a pleasant sweetness, wheta and yeasty-fruity flavours plus some very nice hops that add a grassy-resiny touch. Lyke a hybrid between a witbier and an IPA. Good!
