Hazy amber beer with a huge pale cream coloured head. Lovely nose of pineapple, mint, pine and tropical fruits. Palate is light and airy and a little crisp. Minerals. Thin malt, a little cream. Slightly watery hops, little pineapple, marmalade, pine and mild tropical fruits. Finishes crispy with a touch of lime. Yellow grapefruit aftertaste. Nice complexity here - but it could have done with more intensity.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 3/21/2013. Pours hazy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, orange zest, lemon zest, tangerine, floral, grass, pine, light honey, and floral earthiness. Fantastic aromas with great balance and complexity of hop notes with a fair malt balance. Taste of grapefruit, orange zest, lemon zest, tangerine, floral, grass, pine, light honey, and floral earthiness. Moderate floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, floral, grass, pine, light honey, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and complexity of hop flavors; with a decent malt balance and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky, and crisp mouthfeel that is very nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming noticed after the finish as expected at 3.5%. Overall this is a highly excellent session IPA! Lots of hop flavor with nice complexity and robustness; and very smooth to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Pours a near clear orange gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma is full of earthy hops with notes of grass and leaves with backing earthy bread. Flavor is similar with earthy grass and a bit of grapefruit with backing bread notes.
