500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly grainy and strawy, malty aroma, weak asparagus overtones. Taste is dry, veggy, notes of asparagus, a gritty, mineral touch, grainy and strawy background. Balanced, not overdone - the asparagus could be useful as adjunct but not as sole hop surrogate.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ The pre Fastelavn Smagning - Carnival Tasting, Ulfborg ]. [ As Neuzeller Spargel Bier ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, asparagus, earthy, canned asparagus, asparagus water. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, asparagus, light earthy. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20140228]

Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, hop. flavour is fruit, malt, hop, herbs, vegetable. Boring beer.

Helles goldenes Bier mit wenig Schaum. Geruch süß, malzig, seltsame Aromen (Spargel?). So schmeckt das Bier auch, nicht besonders!

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland 28/02/14. Clear pale golden with a moderate white covering. Nose is pale malt, grassy, light spice, bitter citrics. Taste comprises white pepper, mineral notes, spice, citrics. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for style I guess!

Bottle. A clear, golden beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma actually has aspargus, with pale malts and a faint fruity touch. Pale malts, grainy notes and some fruityness in the flavor, the asparagus not as present as in the aroma. Medium body and a pleasant carbonation level. Mostly bitter finish. Well, interesting to some extent, but not very good. 140228

Pours clear pale yellow with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt and cooked vegetable. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and asparagus (the canned ones, not the fresh). Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 280214

Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a sweetish spicy yeasty aroma.
