330ml bottle from Tennent Caledonian mail order - deep amber, big massive head, didnae last long. Lots of malt loaf fruitiness, big boozy warmth at the end.

Bright amber, fast fading white head. Vague malt nose and palate, lightly toasty. Harsh bitter unblended alcohol heat.

Not sure where I found this...The Gull maybe, or Cask & Barrel. Either way, it was impossible to pass up a chance at this masterwork. Dull pale brown colour with a thin, weak head. Aroma of bland caramel. I mean this smells like lazy industrial beer. On the palate, this aims straight for the fucking sink with plastic and, if we're lucky, caramel. Just phenols and bullshit, really. There are people in Glasgow who just want to get wrecked, but they have many options at their disposal. There are people who appreciate a good wee heavy...they won't find it here. I have no idea why this beer exists. An exploration in existential sucktitude.

330 ml bottle. Pours a bright mahogany with almost no head. Aromas of sweet nutty caramel, copper and toasted malts. Flavors follow same with emphasis on sweet, plus nutty acidity in the finish. OK for the price and easy to drink.

Bottiglia. Al naso arrivano indizi di orzo tostato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il liquido offre una visione offuscata. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è nella norma. La forza gustativa è elevata e permane in maniera sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sul tetto della bocca finiscono caratteristiche di caramello, miele, cracker, pane tostato, agrumi e arancia rossa.

Bottle from Ratsherrn, Hamburg. Clear brown with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and bready. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 211023

Bottle. Clear dark amber with a tiny white head. Aroma of malts, whisky, a little bit of smoke and metal. Taste of caramel, honey, dried fruits, wood, whisky and metal ending with a herbal touch. Pretty boozy. Moderate bitterness. Low to medium carbonation. The parts are all there but the sum falls a bit short.
