Brewed in Europe at an unknown brewery and imported into the UK for Beer52 in association with WereWolf Beer
Truly a style uniquely created by American brewing AND home-brewing, Cascadian Dark Ale takes its name from the combined area of Oregon, Washington and N California. This black IPA looks like a stout or brown ale but drinks almost like regular west coast pale. We’ve selected classic US hops and newcomer Idaho 7 to push the orange like character of this balanced, fully malt bodied, dark treat. Close your eyes for the first sip and see what you think!

[33cl can from Beer52.] A cola coloured pour with a loose beige head; aroma of bitter chocolate and pine resin; milky chocolate body with a crisp resinous hop bitterness; then a smooth chocolatey finish. Beautiful.
