Hmm. All I get is malt, no hops at all. That can't be right?

50cl bottle from Marks & Spencer, Camberley. Great to see the extended range now on offer at M&S. This is similar to the Pennine Pale Ale, but packs more punch. It’s a pale amber pour with a billowing white head; limey citrus aroma; prickly in the mouth, with grapefruit and lime flavours and a grainy body; and a grapefruit bitterness to finish. Another good beer from Allendale.

Bottle conditioned, and I ballsed up the pour, so a bit cloudy! Lovely pale ale mind.

On cask at the Guildford. Appearance - herbaceous with a lime note. Nose - tangy lime marmalade. Taste - more lime marmalade with a zingy ginger note. Palate - medium bodied with a thick tangy texture and a finish that is mostly dry. Overall - a tasty beer but not as drinkable as some of their others.
