Lightly hazy gold - amber beer, small bubbly white head. Palate is light, dry and a little crisp from fine carbonation. Light dry malts, mild caramel. Hops are light citrus with bitter floralness and a trace of lime. Dry finish with a minty hop linger. Not bad but the malt a bit sweet and forward.

Bottle at home. It pours clear amber with a thick yellow-white head. The nose is grapefruit, lemon, touch of soap, hay, honeysuckle and biscuit. The taste is crisp, bitter grapefruit, wood, resin, floral, peppery, green hop, light warming alcohol and varnish with a very dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Clean, crisp and bitter. Crushable.

50cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - amber with a nice generous fluffy head. Nose - some fruit salad with possibly peaches being the prominent fruit. Just a hint of grassiness on the end. Taste - oh, it’s passionfruit or papaya this time, then cleansing nettley bitterness. There’s just a hint of biscuit malt and spice in the background. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a dry and long refreshing finish. Overall - what a beautifully balanced beer. The fruitiness of the hops at first seems like it’s going to be too rich and tropical, but this is beautifully swept away on the finish. Dangerously drinkable.

Bottle from Cornelius. Clear golden body with a medium white head. Light carbonation. Sticky lacing. Pungent candied sugar aroma as soon as the bottle is poured. Bright green and peppery notes too. Flavour of rocket, pepper, grapefruit and mango. Lovely balance between the bitter New Zealand hops and the sweet Belgian candy. Thin body with a very oily mouthfeel. A sharp, fruity hop bomb. Lovely.
