On tap at Steamworks Mt Pleasant, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has plenty of espresso beans, light cocoa, some vanilla, and roast—smells promising. Flavour is disappointingly lifeless, with dry espresso, maybe some cocoa, maybe some vanilla. The malt just isn’t there. Looks good, smells decent, tastes completely neutered. Weak.

Sorta surprised Brewver doesn't have a designation for coffee stout. Medium brown and hazy, with a medium head. Medium body. Some coffee, nutty, and the finish heading in a dry direction. Not bad.
