On tap at Shilling in Glasgow. LOOKS rubbish. Flat as a pancake and no head. Fortunately it's lovely when you drink it. A little more liquorice than is to my taste but plenty of dark chocolate, coffee and a little smokiness too. Not entirely my cup of tea because of the anise but it's good stuff. And an amazing name.

Egham. Cask. A completely off my tits rating. An opaque dark brown beer, with a small pale tan head. Palate is light and crispy. Other than that I was too pissed to pick out any specifics for this one other than it being a decent but unremarkable cask porter in good condition.

7% porter. Mmmmm. As they say, the proof of the pudding and all that so here we go... cask @ Brewery Shades, Crawley. Darkest brown, so close to black. Small but lively khaki head. Aroma of smoke, burnt coffeepot with a hint of bittering hop. Smooth, sweet liquorice taste with an espresso bitterness in the finish. Tongue-tickling palette that is so rare in cask. An excellent beer from a brewery that I just discovered today.
