Bottle shared by Dutchdrebus @ weekly tasting. Clear yellow to orange color, small white head. Aroma is a bit sweaty. Taste malts, hops, lightly bitter. Perhaps an old bottle (best before date on bottle says September 2014) but this is not what I expected.

Bottle @ benzai. Clear orange to amber colour with a small white head. Smells sweaty, malts, hops, very sweet. Tastes sweet, malty, hops, pine, resin. Not sweaty in the taste. Medium body, soft carbo.

Bottle from Oddbins London Bridge. Clear amber colour lasting white head. Toast and toffee on the aroma. Not the usual IPA aroma I expect. Yes some hop and bitterness on the finish. But a bit sweet toffee and toasty for a really good IPA for my taste. It’s got no bad flavours, but it’s got too much toffee to allow the hops to celebrate. More an Eastern American IPA style. Too much toffee. Good condition though.

Clear amber color, steady white head, lace. Aroma is tropical fruity with some piney notes. Also some malty breadyness. Medium-bodied. Piney, resiny - woody, hoppy flavor. With resiny bitterness in the aftertaste. Light sweetish notes too. Clean, nice IPA, although lots of very similar brews in the market nowadays.

Keg at By the Horns Brewery & Tap Room, in company of Loz, Ang & Nick (By the Horns brewer) Summerstown, London, Saturday 14th December 2013 Warm golden colour with a slim white head, some malts showing on what is a predominantly hoppy nose. Some sweet juicy orange prominant amongst an essentially citrussy nose but there is little resin and then some pithiness, its nice, quite different and not quite as good as the El Dorado, Centennial & Columbus version we had last night at the Union Tavern. Bottle shared at Dadsgiving, from ABM, 24/11/13. Clear golden amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is earthy hops, toasted malt, biscuit crumble, bitter orange, straw. Taste comprises a big mineral bite, orange pith, earthy hops, sugars, caramel malt, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy bitterness with a light hop dose at the curtain call. Ok IPA.
