Bottle thanks to my wife stephrocks: Poured a dark brown with tan head. Aroma is sweet malty. Taste is rugged metallic malt.

Bottle shared @ Haket during RBScSG. Pours hazy blackish dark brown with a small mocha head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty with roasted malts, dark bread, caramel, Nescafé, cocoa powder, liquorice and moist soil. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter, roasty and malty. Mouthfeel is soft, round, astringent, watery and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with roasted malts, burnt caramel, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate and moist soil. Solid stout... Bit thin...

Bottle 500ml. @ cgarvieuk [ Lets do a chrisO Tasting ], Edinburgh, Scotland. [ As Epic Double Stout ].Clear dark black brown color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, molasses, caramel, chocolate, smoke, soy sauce. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, smoke, soy sauce, dark roasted, charcoal. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140315]

Bottle at Craig’s. Dark brown-black, dark brown head. It’s a looker! Soy, dark chocolate and liquorice. Taste is more of the same, slightly sweet finish. Good.

bottle at home ... at the Lets do a Chris O tasting... deep black ... thin tan head ... soft dark toffee chocolate malt nose ... over fizzy ... bitter dark roast ... big soya ... not kicking me in the right places.. dry bitter finish

Bottle. Pours a black color with a longlasting tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel aroma. Roasted malty chocolate caramel flavor with hints of toffee. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel finish.
