Bottle shared by Dutchdrebus @ weekly tasting. Dark brown to black color, medium sized lightly creamy off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Smell just lightly malts and some hops, but that might be the result of a couple of days of extreme pollen allergy. Taste malts, hops, moderately bitter. I miss the roastyness. Maybe thereโ€™s a slight roasty touch in the finish, but I had hoped for more.

Bottle @ home shared by me. Black colour with a small off-white to beige head. Smells slightly hoppy.. Not a lot of smell. Tastes slightly hoppy, sweet, slightly malty. Not what you would expect from a black ipa. Thin body, soft carbo.

33cl bottle. From AbM. Best Before 17/10/2014. Near black in color, lasting, brown thick head. Roasted malt, cocoa, fruity hops in aroma, delicious! Flavor has roastedness, licorice, cocoa, ash and piney hoppy notes. Dry long finish. Medium bodied. Nice BIPA, tasty stuff. OK balance.

Bottle 330ml (as "Hopslinger Black IPA", AbM)
Deep ruby color, good brownish head, lace. Licorice, yeast, some hops in the nose. Medium-bodied. Lots of salted licorice in the flavor, toasted malts and nice piney bitterness in the aftertaste. Solid CDA.
