[Cask (gravity pour) at the Basingstoke Beer Festival 2024] A mid chestnut coloured pour; malty aroma; caramel malt taste; with a fresh Kentish hop bitterness and a touch of peppery spice. A good, old-fashioned, bitter.

Fra cask på The Lyric, med Egil: klar kastanjebrun med fint skum som varer helt ned. Maltdrevet aroma og smak med mørke karameller, urter, barskog og engelsk appelsinmarmelade. So smooth.

From cask at The Lyric, near Piccadilly Circus, with Holmen1 09.08.22. Clear mahogany. Fine taste of dark crystal malt, syrup, brittle, roasted nuts, dates and tawny marmalade.Smooth mouthfeel.

Cask gravity @ The Rake, Borough SE1. Pours an amber color with no head. Has a frutiy malty caramel aroma with weak hoppy hints. Fruity malty caramel hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel hoppy finish.

Festival der Bierkulturen. Klare dunkel orange goldene Farbe. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, Karamell, Harz. Geschmack harzig mild hopfig, Karamell, leicht nussig.

Cask @ EBF15 2013, 15th Egham Beer Festival, Egham United Services Club (EUSC), 111 Spring Rise, Egham, Surrey, England TW20 9PE.Unclear medium orange amber color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, nutty, caramel, earthy, medicine. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, medicine, caramel, nutty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130809]

Gravity dispense at EBF XV, 09/08/13. Hazed dark amber with a thin off white swirl. Nose is bready malts, light toffee, walnuts, hint of smoke. Taste comprises light wood, bready malts, earthy hop notes, toffee. Light to medium in bodiment, surprisingly thin for 4.6%. Average affair.

From cask at EBF15. Pours cloudy amber with a fully gone head. Aroma is overripe fruity. Bitter and herbal. Citric and bitter. Dry and toasted finish.
