Rustbucket is a balance of rye and barley malt. The rye gives it a little spiciness which combines nicely with hops that contribute a citrusy note.

Tap @ The Sunflower, Belfast, shared with Niilstrong. Hazy medium to dark orange color, medium sized off-white to beige head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma and flavor both are moderately malty, lightly rye, very hop forward, light tropical fruit hops, fruity in general with a nice hop bitter finish. Medium body, decent to medium carbonation. Nice.

Bottle at home thanks to Mum and Dad. Hazed orange / amber coloured pour with a small off white head. Aroma is orange marmalade, jammy fruits, hoppy, rye grains, light resin. Flavour is composed of toasted grains, some rye, rusty penny, orange jam, mineral. Assertive slightly rough hop bitterness. Palate is spritzy, chalky, high carbonation . decent hoppy red ale.

Bottle shared by John Nolan @Johnny’s Off License (thank you Johnny!). Pours amber with a decent off-white head. Aroma is delicate malty, cereals, light caramel, citrus, resin. Flavour is perfectly balanced, medium malty and sweet with a nice bitter end. Medium body, medium to light carbonation. So balanced, with a classic anglosaxon touch.

Bottle at Johnny Off L. beer shop in Rome-Italy, courtesy of John Nolan. Many thanks. Pours a clear amber color, tick off white foamy head. Nose: resin, American hops, caramel highlights. Mouth: oily, some cara orientation, clean rye feel, bitter finish. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
