A great aroma and powerful upfront hoppy bitterness give way to an explosion of citrus and pine flavours. A full on hop attack not for the faint hearted!

Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a very slightly hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, yeast, grapefruit citrus, some pine notes. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light crisp, citrus fruit, light biscuit malt, hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask pint (times 3) in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 5th March 2016. Pale golden pour, white head that produced some impressive lacing. Citrus feel to the whole thing: OK but a bit one dimensional flavour wise.

Bottle from Jacks (Westholme Stores) Goring on Thames, Oxon, consumed at home Saturday 16th May 2015 A fairly decent but rather safe golden beer, reasonably hoppy but lacking a crisp and dryness, in fact a little bit flabby. Ok. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov11 3.0

Cask@HBF2015. Yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is caramel, fruits, some floral notes as well as mild nectar, some grass and mild wooden notes. Also mild sulphur as it warmed up a bit. Flavour is similar with some slight salty notes to it. No sulphur in the flavour.

(Cask at HBF2015) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, floralness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A nice hoppy golden and ale.
