On tap at Bies Bryghus, as Bies Columbus Ale. Slightly unclear, pale amber color and a small, dense, light beige head. Grapefruit and pine cones on the nose. Malty sweetness too. Lots of caramel in the flavor, smoothend out by a pleasant grapefruity bitterness. Full body, almost sticky sweet, and with a nice carbonation. Slightly buttery in the end. Overall, a bit sweet, but quite pleasant. 110414

Draft. An unclear amber beer withy w bubbly yellowish head. The aroma has notes of straw, fresh flowers, and berries. The flavor is sweet - a bit cloying, with notes of over ripe fruits, caramel, and flowers on a late summers day, leading to a dry, spicy floral finish.
