Bottled. Black colour, small beige head. Aroma is coffee, liquorice, some toffee and mild herbal tones. Flavour is rye bread, some liquorice, tar and mild alcohol tones. Yet it all is quite well in balance.

12oz bottle pours a viscous black with some cloudy, white head. Nose has some burnt toast, a little rubber, dark molasses, dark chocolate, some BBQ sauce. Flavor follows, more malt and caramel, burnt toast, over roasted coffee bean, licorice, molasses, some smokey beef jerky. Full bodied, sticky finish.

Bottle. Nice creamy head with excellent duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich chocolate, coffee, licorice, wood, citrus and hops. Long bitter finish with some smoke as well.

Bottle. Black with small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and liquorice. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, little over carbonated, liquorice, smoke, medium sweet, hop and medium bitter.

Bottle from Kihoskh, bought during CBC 2015 and consumed in room 1014 at Radisson Royal Hotel. Black with a small tan head. Bitter with ash, roasted malt, coffee, licorice and some dark bread. Sweet and with a full body. The finish was long and with some warming alcohol.

Flaske (aug.13, bb. aug-18), delt med Einar i påskeferien-15: svart med tett skum som gir fine kniplinger. Torvrøkt whisky, kreosot og kaffe i aroma. Rugsyrlig smak med mørkbrent kaffe, vanilje og 80%-sjokolade. Tørr, brent ettersmak. Deilig, fet lakris mot slutten, når temperaturen hadde steget.

Bottle @ Home. Pours black with a light brown head, nice lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, light coffee, light citrusly hops, hints of smoke. Flavor of malt, coffee, rye, dark chocolate, wood, light smoke, light citrusly hops. Medium body, soft carbonation, dry finish with some warming alcohol. 251114

Bottle from Vinspecialisten, Aalborg. Black with a lasting brown head. Aroma is dry, roasted malt, licorice and peated. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily. 081114
