FiftyFifty Totality, ein Imperial Stout von 9,9 %, 473-ml-Dose aus dem Weyermann Shop, BA (zum humanen Preis von 5,20 €). - Pechschwarz, dunkelbeige beschäumt. - In der Nase leicht gedämpftes, dennoch enorm massives Röstmalz mit bitterer Mokkabohne, Anklänge an Lakritz, Vanille und Asche, feine herbale Hopfung, leiser wärmender Alkohol. - Antrunk ölig schwer und wuchtig röstmalzig mit rohrzuckergesüßtem Mokka, Bitterschokolade, Süßholz, leiser Asche und zarten erdigen Zügen. Feine herbale Hopfung. Mild rezent, ölig, samtig weich im Mund. Im Abgang sehr lange Mokkabohnenbittere. - Durch wuchtige, tiefe Mokkaaromen beeindruckendes, überwältigend mächtiges Imperial Stout, fett aber rund. (24.10.2023.)

Can @ home. Black body under a small tan head. Aroma of roasted, dark malt, coffee, chocolate and alcohol. Taste is sweet, dark roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, dry fruit, molasses, vanilla and warming alcohol. Balanced bitterness. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Surprisingly smooth for this strength kind of beer. Nice and warming.

Tap at Drunk Uncle. A pretty solid Imperial Stout..what I still wish I was getting when I go to breweries. Thick, viscous, malty. Heavy, real. Enjoyable.

Aus der Dose (bbe 14.06.2022) im 2022-10 getrunken. Dieses Stout mit seiner beigen, kurzweiligen Schaumkrone kommt mit schweren Röstaromen daher. Auch wenn das die Basis-Version zu den wunderbaren Eclipse Stouts ist fehlt hier die Ausgewogenheit der Fassreifung deutlich. So entdeckt man hier eine unausgewogene, sehr kräftige Röstbitterkeit mit Schokoladenaromen und einer feinen grünen Paprika Note. Ein ehrliches IStout was deutlich zeigt was es kann. Mir gefällt die Bitterkeit nicht ganz. Dagegen ist auch hier wie bei den Eclipse Stouts der Alkoholgehalt perfekt eingebunden.

Pint can from Woodman’s Janesville, the original. 9/16/22. Nice to find a probably $20+ four back in the $9.99 BYO section. Dark brown, some chestnut wood color. Large tan head, poor retention. Aroma of roast, chocolate, molasses, nuts. Hints of smoke and vanilla. Taste is roast, chocolate, sunflower, molasses, vanilla, honey. Full bodied, lingering bitterness. Mild booziness. Very, very nice.

44 cl can @ Nilskin sauna, no BBE info Aroma has licorice, toasted notes and mild saltiness. Flavour has licorice, some saltiness, mild coffee tones. Too salty for my taste.

On tap at FiftyFifty, pours black with a small white head. Aroma has dry cocoa, some dark fruit, and earthy malt. Flavour is deep and roasted, with deep roasted malt, light earthiness, and some wood. Quite roasted and somewhat bitter on the finish. Great American impie stout.
