Danish tasting session
Bottled Oct 2013, best before Oct 2018; Jan 2014
The most stupid brewery name ever

Dark brown color, cloudy, with poor head. The aroma is a bit vinous and nutty. Dry mouthfeel; sour malt flavor, dusty, astringent, vinous, stale, a bit fruity. The bitterness takes some vegetable character.
Rather messy.

Hazy very dark brown with a small off-white head. Very inviting aroma of oak, brett, dried fruit, balsamic vinegar and spices. Dry and tart flavour with vinegar and dried fruit, spices, and a touch of ashy, hard roasted malt. The ashy part gets in the way, I guess I’d have preferred Saison Brune

Bottle bought through Systembolaget. Pours hazy goldenish dark brown with a frothy and slightly fizzy blackish beige head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is vinous with dark bread, raisins, hay, moist wood, dry soil, port wine, purple winegums, orange zest and hints of black pepper corns and rye bread. Taste is sour, tiny bitter and vinous with dark bread, moist wood, hay, red wine, port wine, orange zest, lemon zest, moist soil, moss, leather and hints of barnyard and raisins. Mouthfeel is dry, round, tart and light to medium bodied. Finish is sour, tiny bitter and vinous with dark bread, burnt raisins, black pepper corns, hay, moist wood, port wine, orange peal, lemon peal, lime peal, burnt sugar and lime juice. Refreshing tart saison...

Tasting at Bruce’s Pad. Murky dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth and softish and airy. Fine carbonation. Light tangy dried fruits and a little bitter wood. Mild floralness and a decent red wine tang. Smooth finish with a mild bitter wood linger. Nice saison.

Bottle shred in London - many thanks to Kenneth. Pours clear brown with a frothy, off-white head. The nose holds some dark bread, hints of funky, slight burnt wood. Light-medium sweet flavor with a bit of drying wood, slight farmhouse character, hints of cobwebs and old leather, tannic grape skins. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly drying to finish with moderate funk, dried berries, faint earth, subtle poo, basement, modest alcohol warmth. Nice.
