Gegarang Village is located 35Km north of lake Tawar at the top of Sumatra.

A blend of the dark malt of a Stroud Brewery stout and a light roasted coffee bean. The wet hulled coffee bean offers a delicate fruity note, complimenting the malty character of our stout.

Bottle picked up at the Farm shop Thistledown Farm campsite, consumed at Thistledown Farm campsite Friday 11th September 2015. A little bit lively on the pour, in the glass this is murky dark brown with a beige head. Lots of coffee in the mouth, soft mouthfeel with a bitter roastiness a tart dark sticky and bitter fruity edge all but completes the picture. I really like this, they’ve not been shy with the coffee and the stout is man enough to take it. A7 A3 T8 P4 Ov15 3.7
