11/9/2025. Cask at the 2025 Chappel Summer Beer & Cider Festival. Citrus, straw aroma. Bittersweet. Not bad.

Cask at The Old Forge, Kirkby Stephen. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of straw, white bread and butter. Flavour of buttered bread and a trace of earthy hops. Thin body with a slick texture. Nice and simple.

Pours a clear golden colour with a small frothy white head. The aroma is lemony with some herbal notes. A moderately sweet and bitter taste, lemon and herbal flavours with a good bitter finish.

On cask at the Bow Bar. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - lemon and herbs. Taste - more of the same. Some orange. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - good session beer.

Cask @ Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Clear golden-blonde coloured ale with a thinnish head. Has a light hoppy character with a crisp and fairly smooth texture.
