Bottle at L.I.B.Leiden: Opaque black colored brew with an dry bitter taste, mostly hints of coffee and some chocolate, roasted malts and fruitiness.

33cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours black, with minimal light brown foam. Aroma is coffee, salty water, some molasses. Body is average, with fine carbonation. Taste is medium roasty, hiding some sweetness. Some sapidity as well.

From bottle at Da Aldo / Birre da tutto il mondo, Venice, Italy, 15.07.19. Black. Diminishing brown head. Strong aroma and taste of liquorice, tobacco, tar, bacon and roasted malt. Pine bitterness, liquorice and ash is lingering on.

Bottled 330ml. -from Firenze Birra, Italy. Deep black coloured, small to medium sized brownish head that went away fast, chocolate, coffee and whiff of wood in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, light coffee and some trace of wood and licorice with dry roasty finish. Ok but pretty average. 9.0%ABV

Tap@IL Locale, Copenhagen - Black pour with beige head. Sweet and roasted malty with rich chocolate notes, some sweet caramel, dark ashy charred malty accents, medium to full bodied, dark malty finish.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small, dense and brown head. Aroma is roasted dark malty. Roasted. Liqourice. Smooth. Roasted. Dry and roasted dark malty. Dry and roasted finish.

On tap at LIB Speciaalbier Festival, Leiden ’16. Black with a small short lived tan head. Aroma of raisins, overripe dark fruit, dark chocolate, caramel, toffee and malt. Flavour is heavy sweet and light moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Free bottle at LiB shared. Almost black with light brown head. Quite some coffee, toffee, dried red berries, roasted nuts, light ash, soft grass. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with slick feel.
