Bottled, from Systembolaget. Dark brown, small beige head. Toasty coffee aroma. Mid dry with light body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Coffee and grains, some chocolate. Low-medium bitterness. Well drinkable.

Aroma is typical to dunkel; bready malt with roastiness. Also hints of vegetables. Flavour has bready malt, some coffee tones and semi-dark chocolate. A solid dunkel. Does not pair well with loaf bread; it brings out the vegetables.

Flaska från SB. Julöl 2013. Mörkt brun. Drar åt svagdricka och mörk degvätska. Lätt kropp, mycket brödiga smaker, råg/vörtbröd, julkryddor, lätt beska som är örtigt blommig. Trevlig till julmaten men annars lite mycket vörtdegspadskaraktär.

Murky brown color, small beige head. Grainy, bready, slightly cellary aroma. Light-bodied. Toasted flavor, some chocolate, light vegetably notes, a bit grainy. Light hops in the finish and aftertaste. Certain grainy-veggie notes lower the points.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Dark brown with a small head. Aroma and taste of light roasted malt, nuts, chocolate and some dried fruit. The finish was relatively bitter. The mouthfeel was thin but the beer was quite full of flavours despite only 4.5%.

33cl bottle from Citymarket, Vantaa. Cola brown, thin white head. Bready, nutty, almondy aroma. Flavor has bread, malt, nuts, smokey notes, ash in the back towards finish. Thin body, but lot of flavors.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 210714 - batch PE1303, at Pikkulintu, 20131109) The beer poured dark brown and quite clear. Its head was small and almost white. Aroma had malts, molasses and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, acridness and bitterness. Afteraste was acrid and bitter. A slightly promising aroma and displeasing taste.
