3$ can from vintage estate. Pour is rich viscous bad-ass black with a choco-moose head. Nose is malty dark brew. First taste is so impressive, its so big and so bad, its large and in charge. Burnt malty flavors permeate the whole gambit of taste sensations. Quite an impact. So over the top its down the side. Whew a 'way too much beer for me' experience. Glass has legs. Giant whirlpool of counterblast waves thru my mouth. A bit of a warming sensation down my throat and into my belly. Oh me oh my oh - this stuff just kicked my ass. Intense but difficult for this lager lover. Except for its numbing sensation, this stuff probably will never be drunk by me again. TOOO MUCH

22 oz Bottle shared by Willrunforbeer, awesome! Ticking some Impy stouts!!! No bottle but it was pulled from Willrunforbeer’s cellar. Aroma is. Burnt sugar, molasses, raisins, mild roast.
The flavor has burnt grain, burnt coffee. Bitter chocolate. Way more bitterness than should be here. Not sure if age has anything slightly off with this.mThe body and texture is also on the thin side. I just have a very high standard for imperial stout. This doesn’t really meet it.

Bottle, 22oz. An almost black one, clear looking and with a small, dense, beige head. Lots of molasses in the aroma, with dark chocolate, coffee and roasted hints. Alcohol notes. Lightly warming and full-bodied on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. Lots of molasses in the flavor, along with some chocolate and coffee and a touch of dark sugar sweetness and alcohol. Lasting sweet and molasses-ish finish. Sure a nice one, although probably a tad sweet. 140301
