Light tropical, malts and juicy, oranges. Light bitterness.

Golden colour, small white head. Nice aroma of peach, tropical fruits and mild herbal tones. Flavour is floral, some fruity and mild toffeeish tones.

Amber colour, small white head. Caramalt, tea in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Citrus, bread, bergamot in the flavour. Okish.

Bottle 33 cl. Comes as De Molen Bergamot IPA. Pours a cloudy, opaque amber with a small, rough, off-white head. Sweet, biscuity nose, appears rather oxidized. Medium body, some lightly sweet crystal malts with some tired bittering hops. 180324

Floral fruity beginning. Slightly citric sourish, bloomy. The bergamotte is there in citric skin and fruity juice behind a great and slightly grainy bitter body. Bitter fruity in the end with a deep grainy but bergamotte floral finish.

Bottle, past BB date - should have been marked down Bierkiste! Light hazy dark amber, offwhite cream. Lightly oxizized citric and honeyish aroma. Medium full body, light resinny citric hops, a bit cream cheese, dark honey to caramel. Citrus and candi sugar retronasal. Opens up a bit after a little while.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 06.08.2022) im 2022-04 getrunken. Dieses mit Bergamotte gebraute Ale ist in der Nase sehr verschlossen und man kann den Einfluß der Citrusfrüchte nur erahnen. Am Gaumen ist es ähnlich, wobei im Abgang eine überraschende Citrusfrische aufkommt. Der Hopfeneinfluß bei die IPA ist auch eher schwach, was mir nur recht ist. Als Fazit ist es zwar sauber gebraut, aber doch irgendwie langweilig. Etwas mehr Frucht hätte ich mir gewünscht.
