From a bottle this is a more of an orange pale ale. Has a somewhat cloying sweet aroma, alarming. Quite strong on the palate at first with hops but then it smoothes out a little. Pretty good co2 impact. If this is celebrating alchemy, so be it. I’m just not sure if this beer is alchemy. One thing I gottah say, this beer hides the alky, would never know its near 6%.
