Cask at the Wellington; clear amber pour with thin creamy off white head, malt and caramel aroma, taste has caramel, a hint of coffee, biscuit, some dark fruits.

Cask (handpump) @ NWAF 2013, National Winter Ales Festival, The Venue, Sheridan Suite, Manchester, England.Clear medium amber orange color with a average to large, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white - grey head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, light sewer - yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130124]

Cask-conditioned at the Cheshire Beeriodical, Seven Stars, Bristol October 2012. Copper in colour with an off-white head. Easy drinking, with some hedgerow fruits, cereal malts and a decent bitter finish. Good.
