Bottle shared with my bro it BOD. It pours deep reddish - brown with a dissipating tiny off-white head. The aroma is rich and toothy, chewy, fudge, toffee, date, oily, unctuous, bit of green tea and dull spice. The taste is dry, fragrant, floral, jasmine green tea, soapy, warming peppery spice, crystallised ginger, orange peel, marmalade, tangerine, slick, oily, dried fruits, raisin, sultana and boozy warmth through the finiah. Medium body, low carbonation and oily mouth feel. Good depth of flavour, but pretty punchy also. Flavours clash a bit. Fun to sample, but I couldn't drink a lot of it.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, tea, and spices, leading to a dry tea-ish finish. Weird, but very interesting.

Bottle shared at chriso’s Easter 2015 tasting - London. Pours unclear amber with a creamy white head. The nose holds ginger, lime, citrus, bread. Hugely sweet flavor with more ginger, sugar syrup, bread, fruitcake. Full bodied, chewy, and finely carbonated. Warming finish, sticky and sweet and syrupy. A bit much, but there are some novel attributes.

Bottle split at Chriso Easter Tasting, 04/04/15. Orange amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is dark fruits, candied fruit peel, earthy, light spice, dates, fruit cake mix. Taste comprises Xmas Cake, dark fruit peel, sultanas, spice, figs, sweet syrup, toasted brown sugar. Full bodied, fine carbonation - light cloying elements, sweet licks in a warming close. Ok sipper but ultimately too sweet.

Bottle shared with my good friend Niels. Lightly unclear red color, average sized white head. Aroma is lightly malts, tea and pepper. Taste lightly malts, sweet, cough syrup, tea, pepper, liquorice (trekdrop), alcohol, a hint of tea bitter, mint, spice and even a hint of "speculaas". A bit weird to say the least. Lots and lots of flavors but they don’t combine very well imo. Interesting experiment but it didn’t work this time I’d say.

Murky amber beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and viscous and has decent fine carbonation. Very sweet malts with touches of cream and caramel. Nice green tea blends in well. Nicely judged pepper provides a great counterpoint and stops it getting cloying. Finishes smooth with a nice pepper spice linger. Sweet and strong and very unusual and pretty drinkable.
