Bottle. It pours a dark amber body and a small off-white to beige head. Rather clear. The aroma is bready, with hints of licorice and some toffee. It’s more or less full-bodied, and quite dry on the palate, with flavors of roasted malts, some toffee, bread and licorice. Overall, a decent beer, but too straightforward and boring to make it interesting, especially as a Christmas beer. 130201
