Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a hazy yellow color with a finger’s worth of white foamy to bubbly head. Strapping white foamy to bubbly lace.
The aroma navigates through a sweet blend of sweet wheat to semi-sharp bitter citrus rind to a contrasting bitter pine. Sly bready malt, but balancing.
The flavor wants to blend between the malts and the hops, but becomes more lemony sweet in the taste. The aftertaste is sharp and pulls the hops up and over the wheat seeming to want to cover any sort of wheat bite. Quick dry finish.
On the palate, this light to medium bodied wheat ale seems to be fairly sessionable in its ability to move along my tongue appropriately. ABV felt right. Carbonation felt good.
Overall, pretty good American pale wheat ale that is worthy of coming back to preferably in the Summer if I could get it again.

Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body under a minimal-sized off-white head. The aroma is quite fruity, peaches and some strawberry, with the malts in the back. Quite weak flavor too, mostly fruity, with some bitterness showing up. Medium to thin on the palate, quite dry. Bitter finish with a little maltyness. Drinks easily this one, and is quite quenching, but it’s also as boring as most American style wheat ales. 140118

12oz twist off cap bottle pours near clear gold with weak white head. The mild aroma offers up some sweetness and a bit of grainy cereal notes. The taste begins smooth, low on carbonation making it smoother, pretty far on the sweet side and then sugar sweetened floral hops. To midway and into the finish a small island of grainy sort of breakfast cereal notes are spotted that keep this thing from sinking in the overly sweet abyss.
