(Cask at Harp, Charing Cross, London, 28 May 2018) Reddish amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel, red fruit and orange peel. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of caramel, crisp-bread, orange peel, a touch of resin and a balanced citric/resiny bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Half-pint, cask, served in a mug at Bath Brew House, shared with Finn. Covering beige head, clingy lacing, near-clear copper coloured body. Leafy hops and grainy malts on the nose. Jam-like taste profile, moments of dried fruits, almond and mid-sweet malts. Malt-fruity ending. Medium bodied. Tasty stuff. (Bath 03.05.2017).

Cask @ Victorian Craft Beer Café, Halifax. Glowing clear amber-gold with a small head. Has a mild hoppy tropical fruitiness, and a very small dryness in its texture. There’s an underlying maltiness to the ale too.
