Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown with a bubbly light tan head. The aroma is light malt with a little coffee and cocoa. The flavour is medium bitter with a rich roasted malt, chocolate coffee hop spice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Really liked this. Lots of flavour. Lots going on!

Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is crispy and dry. Lots of dark chocolate here with a little chocolate powder on top. Touch of tangy dark fruits. There isn’t a lot of dark malt! Chocolate aftertaste. Tasty and err quite chocolatey porter.

Cask-conditioned at the Beer Emporium, Bristol 14/2/2014. Black in colour with a decent, off-white head. Dominated by plain chocolate upfront, with a touch of sweetness, before some toasted malts and a dryish finish. I found the chocolate was a bit overpowering.
