Bottle. An unclear, dark golden to amber colored beer topped by a creamy beige head. The aroma is grassy and piney, rather malty too. Bitter flavor with caramel maltyness as a backdrop. Citrus peel and some grass notes. It’s full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated, finishing mostly bitter. A beer that lacks complexity and also feels a bit boring, but it’s far from bad anyway. 140307

0.33l bottle. This is a really deep dark chestnut brown colored one, kinda cloudy in the glass and it has a medium sized somewhat bubbly light beige head. Oh, it's really butterscotch caramel-like sweet on the nose. Something smells like it shouldn't here. Some butter and brown sugar with a little bit of reed and that's it. It has a thin oily mouthfeel and the carbonation is what it would call soft. Yeah, it has some bitterness. Not as sweet as I had imagined, as it is actually more on the dry side. A little bit of dark malts, a good biscuity sweetness and it's leaving a bitter grassy tail in the mouth. Somewhat mouthdrying as well. I could easily drink this again, but I did not fancy that over sweet buttery aroma. 02.11.2013

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a murky, opaque amber with a beige head leaving a little lacework. Rather perfumy hop aroma atop some sweet caramel. Medium body, dominated by seet caramel and again these perfumy hops that have a tad of a chemical touch to them. Is there a vague, strange smokiness in there? A little late bitterness. But decently drinkable. 070114
