" Pascher- Die Nacht der langen Schatten" startete in Schönsee-Friedrichshäng heuer in die 6. Saison. Das als Hommage an die Schmuggler aufgeführte Freilichtspiel hatte am 3. August Premiere. Rechtzeitig dazu haben die Pascher nun auch ihr eigenes Bier: das Pascher-Bier vom Eulenberg. Wir vom Rhanerbräu freuen uns, dass den "Schönseer Schmugglern" unser untergäriges, naturtrübes und unfiltriertes Kellerbier so gut schmeckt, dass wir daraus das "Pascher-Bier" machen durften. Ein handwerklich gebrautes Bier-Schmankerl, wie aus der "guten" alten Zeit!

500 ml bottle. Vibrant cloudy orange yellow with a big white fluffy head, looks great! Aroma is lemon, bread, some sourdough, some alcohol, grain, quince and stone fruit. Grainy sweetness, dry zesty bitterness. Medium bodied, oily watery texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry zesty grainy sweet finish. It’s a standard Kellerbier, looks great, but tastes rather average or even dull.

Bottled (backlog). Slightly hazy yellow colour with a mediumsized fluffy white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, mild grains, grass, mild earth and some hay. Flavour is quite similar, and stronger on the malty side. Smooth and refreshing.

Bottled, from Biershop Bayern. Hazy golden, mid sized head. Fruity nose with some minerals and grass. Mid sweet with light-mediu, body and rounded mouthfeel. Bready and fruity with notes of grass. Fairly low bitterness.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest spicy. A bit metallically. Background a bit sourish-grasy. Finish more balanced. Okay.

Das Pascher-Bier hat eine sehr leicht trübe goldene Farbe und eine ordentliche weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig, hopfig, grasig, würzig. Geschmack leicht getreidig, malzig, gering hopfig, fruchtig, getreidig mild im Abgang.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Yeasty, mildly grainy and doughy malty aroma with flowery and delicately spicy hops. Slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a slightly prickly carbonation. Moderately grainy malt character with notes of white bread, butter and shades of floral hops far in the background; mildly sweet and delicately bitter finish with slightly bready malt. Easy-going, inoffensive Lager. 10.XI.14

Bottle 500ml. @ home.Light unclear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, pale malt. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt - malty, grain, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20131231]
