Blend of barrel-aged imperial stout and imperial stout with espresso, vanilla beans, and orange peel.
For this second Parfait blend for Chris at Clayton Winehouse, we harnessed the flavors of the popular Espresso Martini and put our little twist on it. With that winter cocktail in mind, we used our Vibes Stout recipe and a blend of our Barrel-Aged Vibes Stout and Barrel-Aged O.W.K. recipes which had rested for 1 year in Willett Bourbon barrels. The final blend was then finished on Italian Roast Espresso, Madagascar Vanilla Beans, and Orange Peel.

Canned 11/7/24, drunk 6/24/25.
Dark, undetermined clarity, with a massive, ashen-cocoa-tan head that is well-retained.
Damn. That smells like an espresso martini in the best way possible. Bourbon rinse with an orange peel wipe and luscious, rich, fruity and roasty coffee. Vanilla and all manner of chocolate, with plentiful malt. Not too sweet and not boozey.
Soft, rich, velvety and comforting in the mouth with just enough malt sweetness and texture, coming just shy of syrupy. Good attenuation, with spicy bourbon matched by rich, fruity and roasty espresso. Super tasteful orange peel with lingering bourbon spice, light oak, lots of vanilla and fruity coffee and chocolatey malts.
